Assemblyman steals sheep

The Assembly member for Anyima West in Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo region, Gdolu Suglo has been grabbed for stealing sheep belonging to one Baba.

The incident according to reports happened a couple of weeks ago, but because of the status of the assemblyman, elders of the town stepped in and attempted to quietly settle the issue.

However due to his constant public claim of innocence the owner of the sheep publicly informed authorities in the area. Suglo was subsequently summoned by the traditional authorities where he pleaded guilty.

The Chief of Anyima, Nana Ameyaw,  however, said investigations are ongoing and will therefore not comment on the issue.
