To mark 20 years since his injury, the painter has opened an art exhibition.

According to Jansz  who paints with a brush in his mouth, his paintings are aimed at expressing his joy in what he sees around him.

He also went on to state that he never appreciated the things around him, until his accident.

"People are often surprised that I don't paint the frustration perhaps of being in my situation. Why would I want to? I want to uplift myself and others.
