Canines marry at beachfront after 7 year relationship - bride wears $2,000 gown

After seven years of dating, pugs Jasmine and Jasper have finally barked their I do's at each other in a romantic ceremony at the canine wedding of the year.

Over 300 people and 60 pugs packed into West Beach Bathers Pavilion in Melbourne's famous beach side suburb of St Kilda on Sunday to watch the paw-some nuptials unfold in the name of Pug Rescue And Adoption Victoria.

Dressed to impress in a stunning bedazzled gown valued at $2,000, designed by Australian Project Runway star Craig Braybrook, Jasmine looked every inch the happy dog bride as she strolled down the aisle on a leash giving her dapper new pooch husband puppy dog eyes.
