24-yr-old student attempts suicide over admission miss

A 24-year-old female prospective pre-degree student attempted to kill herself after she failed to find her name on the admissions list of the university she applied to.

gathered that the lady (names withheld) had logged on to the institution's website and found out that her name was not included.

She decided to take her own life by taking poison but her roommate noticed and called for help.

The student was rushed to the hospital where doctors confirmed she had ingested poisonous substance, an apparent suicide attempt.

She is presently recuperating after receiving treatment.
