Most expensive paintings ever sold

It's another day to learn something new, and we have put together three most expensive paintings ever sold.

The Gauguin painting was sold for $300m. It's the highest price ever paid for a work of art, and was bought by a Qatari buyer from a Swiss private collection.

The second most expensive painting is 'The Card Players' painting by Paul Cézanne. It was sold for $250m.

The third is No. 5, 1948 painting by Jackson Pollock, which was sold for  $140m.
