The Black Stars captain suffered a strain on his thigh during Ghana’s home tie against Congo in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The 31-year-old subsequently missed his nation’s away game against the Red Devils, as well as this month’s qualifier against Uganda, before again failing to recover for Ghana’s Saudi Arabia in an international friendly.

However, the striker has made a quick return to action, and partook in the training Thurday’s training session with his Kayserispor team-mates.
