GHALCA to sign broadcasting rights contract with StartTimes

The G-6 tournament is expected to start on November 13th.

Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) on Monday, November 7, will sign a contract with StarTimes, a pay TV service operator, for the upcoming G-6 tournament.

The signing of the contract will come off at StarTimes head office at Airport Residential area in Accra – the time is 3pm.

The upcoming off-season tourney will be the second edition, the first edition was telecast by Supersport but this time the China based pay TV service operator pulled a fast one on the South African based broadcasting giants to win the broadcasting right of the soon-to-start tournament.

The first edition was won by Asante Kotoko, after beating Aduana Stars 1-0 at the Essipong Sports Stadium-thanks to Halipha Sedogo’s strike.

The six clubs that will be taking part in the second edition of the G-6 tournament are, Wa All Stars, Aduana Stars, Hearts of Oak, Medeama, Asante Kotoko and Bechem United.
