The Newcastle United player was in Ghana to play in the game against Egypt but picked up an injury.

That in itself did not prevent Atsu from still impacting in the lives of Ghanaians. Atsu posted a video of a little boy called Desmond who is a disabled abandoned child.

Christian Atsu posted the video on his twitter handle with the caption:

Christian Atsu is the face of Ghana’ subsidiary to the international NGO Arms around child which aims at helping orphans across the globe.

Christian Atsu is looking to have a rejuvenated career at Newcastle since joining the side on loan in the 2016/2017 season.

The 25 year old winger has played 8 league games for the Magpies with 1 goal to his credit in the ongoing 2017/2018 season.
