Joseph Paintsil scores again

Former Tema Youth star found himself on the score sheet for his side Ferencvaros as they went on to beat Budapest Honved.

Joseph Paintsil who transferred to Hungarian club from Tema Youth on transfer deadline day had an electrifying debut at home.

The 19 year old midfielder managed to help his side to beat Vansas 5-2. This time round in his first away game Painstil did the onus once more as he sealed the victory away at the Boznik Stadion in Budapest.

It was as early as the 6th minute when Roland Varga scored a header to ensure Ferencvaros take the lead.

Honved were to equalize from a penalty through Davide Lanzaframe. Vargas got Ferencvaros to take the lead again through a volley.

It was 8 minutes past the hour mark and that was where Joseph Painstil connected a cross from left back Endre Bokta which saw the ball go past David Grof.

This very goal made it 3-1 and sealed the victory for Ferencvaros. The victory sees Joseph Painstil’s side move up to 2nd spot. Ferencvaros will look to chase leaders Videoton who lead with 4 points.
