Asante Kotoko have asked their players to leave camp to their various homes after the Ghana Premier League was suspended over Coronavirus scare.

The Ghana Premier League has been suspended after the President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo placed a ban on all gathering including sporting activities in the country to avoid Coronavirus outbreak.

Asante Kotoko whose clash against Inter Allies on Monday was postponed following the suspension of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) have taken a decision to break their players for two weeks.
A statement on the club’s official Twitter page read;
🚨 #COVID19 update🚨

In the interest of the players’ safety following the global #COVID2019 pandemic and government/@ghanafaofficial’s decision to suspend football activities, we have given the lads a 2-week break with immediate effect.
