Coronavirus outbreak which was first reported in China has become a threat the world over and it has affected international sporting events negatively.
Sports Associations in Rwanda in their quest to put in place plans to prevent the outbreak of the deadly disease have agreed to cancel all international sporting activities until further notice.
One of the conclusions reached in a meeting held on Tuesday is urging all organizations to stop all sports activities planned to take place outside of Rwanda, especially in countries that have been affected by the disease.
The Ministry of Sports have called on the organizations to immediately contact those concerned at African or global level to avoid sanctions.
This implies they won't travel to Cape Verde for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications and also the 2020 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) in Cameroon.
It would be recalled that the Italian Football Federation has also taken a decision to halt the Serie and are planning on how to determine the champions for the 2019.2020 season.
Meanwhile, several champions League games will be played behind closed door- PSG VS Dortmund, Barcelona vs Napoli, etc.
