The striker has member of successful British singing group Little Mix as his girlfriend. Leigh-Anne Pinnock due to her fame has been invited to the director’s box on countless occasions.

However, Burnley manager Sean Dyche blocked her sitting at that part of the stadium.

It was revealed that Dyche due to Pinnock’s fame felt she was getting preferential treatment and therefore made her sit with the wives and girlfriends of other players.

The very day that little piece of information was made public, Andre Gray made it known to the club that he wanted to move south to Watford.

Burnley had initially rejected two bids from Watford but the Hornets raised the amount offered  and at this point Burnley had to let him go since he had a year left on his contract.

Andre Gray signs a five year deal worth £18.5 million and takes a pay raise to £70,000 a week.

It is quite difficult to indeed pinpoint Pinnock’s treatment as the reason Andre Gray’s move. Although, it could be a contributing factor as well as his wage raise from £25,000 to £70,000 a week.

The striker was already demanding a pay raise to that amount in order to sign a new deal with his former club.
