Emirates cancels plane enroute Dubai because of a rat
Imagine having to share a long flight with a squeaky rat.
That's exactly what could have been the case for dozens of passengers who were enroute Dubai from Birmingham on an Emirates airline before the flight was cancelled.
Passengers on a Boeing 777-300 complained of a rat on a flight from Birmingham, UK, to Dubai on June 14th and Emirates delayed the flight after crew unsuccessfully attempted to capture the rodent.
In a statement, the airline said:
"The airline suspended one of its flights, Birmingham to Dubai, after a rat had been spotted on board which caused fear among the passengers especially after all attempts made by the cabin crew to rid the plane of the mouse failed."
Passengers spent the night in a hotel, while the airline arranged alternate flights for everyone.
So, what would you do in you were onboard a flight that had a rat? Let us know.
