Robert Pattinson Is Training With a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Expert Ahead of Filming 'The Batman'
Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a variation of the martial art which specializes in grappling and ground fighting, and involves a series of moves which enable the fighter to overpower a physically stronger opponent by using leverage to bring them down to the ground, where they can be subdued through chokeholds and joint locks all of which suggests Pattinson's Batman will have a gritty, realistic fighting style.
In addition to training the next Caped Crusader, Machado also worked with Keanu Reeves on stunts and choreography when he was getting in character as an assassin in the John Wick movies . A member of the famous Machado family of Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioners, his other famous clients include Joe Rogan and Ashton Kutcher .
