Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Squeeze a Pair of Lipomas in New Video

In her newest Instagram video , Dr. Pimple Popper aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MDremoves a pair of lipoma nuggets from a patients body. In the clip, Dr. Lee uses a scalpel to make a small incision before digging in to cut the growths free with her tweezers and surgical scissors.

Lipomas, according to Medical News Today , are benign, fatty tumors that tend to be situated between the skin and the underlying layer of muscle. (This is one reason they're able to shift slightly under the skinor why they're "more mobile" as Dr. Pimple Popper puts it in the video.) Lipomas are also relatively common, affecting as many as 3 million people every year and mostly cropping up among middle age adults.

While lipomas dont always require a dermatologist like Dr. Lee to intervenesome people simply choose to live with themmany opt for the procedure when they suddenly grow in size or become otherwise burdensome. And in this case, Dr. Lee manages to free them with no more than a couple of quick squeezes. Another satisfied patient.
