Actor joins 'Scandal' as regular

Cornelius Smith Jr. who starred as Marcus  Walker in season 4 of ABC's 'Scandal', has been promoted to series regular.

According to EW, Cornelius Smith Jr. who joined the Shonda Rhimes' created show in season four, will be a regular face in the fifth season.

Smith featured in two episodes of the last season, making his first appearance in 'The Lawn Chair' episode as an activist.

He made his second appearance when he found his girlfriend dead, and sought Olivia's help.
