CBS cancels TV show

CBS is bringing to an end its long-running hit series 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation'.

The 15-season run will end with a two-hour finale, which will feature original stars William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger.

The finale has been scheduled to air on September 27, 2015.

Lead character, Ted Danson and William Peterson will be moving to the spinoff 'CSI: Cyber, where they would star alongside Patricia Arquette.

'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' revolves around a dedicated group of forensic investigators at the Las Vegas Crime Lab, who work to solve crimes in Sin City.
