The movie generated a lot of debates with other individuals claiming that the movie is politically motivated to deliberately campaign against the ruling National Democratic Congress.

Kaakyire has denied the allegations adding that it has no political agenda that seeks to campaign against the NDC flag bearer, President John Dramani Mahama.

The movie featured popular stars like Agya Koo, Lilwin, Akrobeto, Bishop Bernard Nyarko, Kojo Poku Mahala, Otali, Big Akwes, Mercy Asiedu, Kyeiwaa, Wofa Opoku Mensah and others.
