Despite HBO's best efforts to put an end to piracy of it's hit TV series 'Game of Thrones', show has continued to break piracy records.

'Game Of Thrones' once again undefinednew undefinedwith Sunday’s episode, 'Kill The Boy', which 2.2m times in less than 12 hours beating previous piracy records, Variety reports.

The first pirated copies of the episode were uploaded on different file-sharing sites shortly after its U.S. broadcast.

According to piracy-tracking firm Excipio, The 2.2 million downloaders were tracked by the firm by 10 a.m. ET Monday morning.

According to Variety,  US is taking the top spot with over 200,000 downloads, followed by Australia, Brazil, India, and the UK.
