'Grey's Anatomy' actor joins 'The Good Wife' as regular

'Grey’s Anatomy' and 'Supernatural' star, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, is the latest addition to CBS’ 'The Good Wife.'

The actor who is joining the legal drama as a series regular, will play Alex, a “calm, experienced hourly investigator” whom Alicia (Julianna Margulies) hires.

“We’ve loved and admired Jeffrey Dean Morgan for years, and we were thrilled to hear that Julianna did too, so it was a no-brainer to ask him to join our troupe,” executive producers said.

Following undefinedfans can hope that Alicia and Morgan decide to mix business with pleasure.

The Good Wife returns Sunday, October 4.
