There's a new trailer for the upcoming Justin Kurzel's screen adaptation of the popular Shakespare play 'Macbeth.'

The upcoming film stars Michael Fassbender as the Scottish soldier who kills his way to the top of the throne, and Marion Cotillard as his murderous wife and accomplice.

Others in the movie include David Thewlis, Elizabeth Debicki, Jack Reynor, Sean Harris and Paddy Considine.

Plot

Macbeth, a duke of Scotland, receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and spurred to action by his wife, Macbeth murders his king and takes the throne for himself.

'Macbeth' will premieres in the UK on October 7 and the U.S. on December 4.
