Dignitaries grace Amma Asante's "A United Kingdom" premiere in Botswana
"A United Kingdom" is based on the true story of Botswana’s first president, Seretse Khama, who fell in love with a London office worker, Ruth Williams, who became the First Lady of Botswana.

In attendance were Terry Pheto, Abena Ayivor, Britain’s Prince Andrew and Sir Ketumile Masire (second president of Botswana), and a number of other dignitaries.

It was shot in London and Botswana.

The star studded cast of the movie includes David Oyelowo, Rosamund Pike,  Tom Felton, Jack Davenport, Abena Ayivor, Vusi Kunene and Terry Pheto.

The movie will open the 60th BFI London Film Festival in October, the first time for a black woman Filmaker.
