According to the Guinness World Records, the trailer racked was viewed 30.65 million views within a single day.
Star Wars already holds a Guinness World Records title for the Most successful film merchandising franchise.
The record breaking trailer currently has over 54 million hits on YouTube. 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' hits cinemas December 18, 2015.
