Fox announces X-Men spin-off

Fox's cinematic universe  is set to create a spin-off for its X-Men franchise , titled, 'The New Mutants.'

The New Mutants which came into existence in 1982, focused on a younger, more angsty and weirder group of mutants at Charles Xavier's academy.

The New Mutants is set to be directed by Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars), and produced by Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg.

Kinberg said.

20th Century Fox has previously set a 2018 release date for an X-Men film, fans would just have to wait.
