Rapper faces charges over 'The Black The Berry' artwork

undefinedhas been served with a fresh lawsuit for allegedly using a wrongfully acquired image for his single's cover art.

Freelance photographer Giordano Cipriani is sueing the BET Awards winner for using his image without permission to promote his single, 'The Blacker The Berry' from his latest LP To Pimp A Butterfly.

The photo, which was taken in 2011 while K.Dot was in Africa, depicts a woman breastfeeding two children.

According to reports, Cipriani did not receive any payment for the image, and filed a lawsuit on July 10th in a New York Federal court against Kendrick Lamar, Top Dawg Entertainment, Interscope and Aftermath.

Cipriani is demanding $150,000 for every time the image was used as well as the cost of his legal fees.
