Rapper Tic hits Wizkid with N30million lawsuit

According to a Writ sent to Pulse.com.gh, the “Kwani Kwani” hitmaker and Nigerian afro-pop veteran Tony Tetuila are demanding a sum of 30million Naira in damages plus royalties made from Wizid over his song “Gbese” which features Trey Songz.

The Writ states that Tic and Tony Tetuila are the rightful owners of parts of the composition and lyrics of Wizkid's song.

It said Wizkid reproduced and distributed the song in question ‘without obtaining any license or authorization’ from Tic and Tony Tetuila.

It further ordered Wizkid to pay 35 per cent of digital sales revenue and publishing royalties to Tic and Tony.
