Many passengers sustained severe injuries when a vehicle collided on the Ho-Aflao road.

Many passengers sustained various degrees of injuries Saturday afternoon in the Volta Region when the vehicles they were travelling on collided.

The accident occurred between Kpetoe and Agortime-Akpokorpe on the Ho-Aflao highway.
The accident, which occurred at about 5pm, involved an Aflao-bound Hyundai vehicle and a Toyota saloon car.
Eyewitnesses said the saloon car was trying to swerve potholes on the highway when it collided with the Hyundai.
The injured victims were taken to the Ho regional hospital for treatment.

The Police have started investigating the accident.
