Government wants to listen, tap, copy, record and intercept your messages via the telecommunication system through the Interception of Postal Packets and Telecommunication Messages Bill before parliament, an IT expert, Maximus Ametorgor has said. In an exclusive interview with Pulse.com.gh, he said the new bill is a clear attempt by government to infringe on the privacy of people. The Postal Packets and Telecommunication Messages Bill was referred to the Defense and Interior of Parliament last week by the Speaker of Parliament, Edward Doe Adjaho.
Accused robber run down by taxi released from Police Hospital
One of the suspects injured in the Koala robbery incident has been released from hospital and taken into police custody.The Accra Regional Police Command Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Afia Tenge told Pulse.com.gh one of the men involved in the incident was released from the Police Hospital on Friday, while the other is still in the hospital under guard.
