Argentina have handed call-ups to two uncapped players ahead of their Rugby Championship opener against South Africa on August 20.

Head coach Daniel Hourcade has brought in prop Felipe Arregui and back-row forward Marcos Kremer for the clash with the Springboks in Nelspruit.

The young duo were included in the Pumas' 26-man squad on Wednesday ahead of the flight to Johannesburg to begin their preparations.

Agustin Creevy will lead the Pumas but there is no place for Matias Moroni - who is currently at Rio 2016 for the Olympic sevens competition - or the injured Jeronimo de la Fuente.

Their absence leaves Juan Martin Hernandez and Matias Orlando as the only centres in Hourcade's squad, while Brumbies scrum-half Tomas Cubelli is the only non-Argentinian based player selected.
