The Ayew brothers, Andre and Jordan, can’t thank God enough for the career he has given them.
The duo rose through the ranks together at Olympique Marseille, before later breaking into the first team.
Both brothers are again fortunate to now ply their trades in the English Premiership, where Andre lines up for West Ham United and Jordan, Swansea City.
Last Saturday, they faced-off against each other when the Hammers hosted the Swans at the Olympic Stadium, with Andre’s West Ham walking out victors after edging the encounter by a goal to nil.
And the elder of the Ayew took to Twitter to thank God for giving he and his brother such a career.
He described their journey so far as “blessed”, while reveling in the victory over his little bro.
Andre posted a picture exchanging pleasantries with his brother in the aftermath of the game, accompanied by the caption: “Blessed boys. What God has done for us, can’t thank Him enough. Jordan Ayew! 3 points at home in a difficult game. Back to work.”
The Ayew brothers, though, will take no part in Ghana’s upcoming world cup qualifier against Uganda, after being excluded from the squad by coach KwesiAppiah.
