Once again, another honor has been bestowed on Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan by Africa Youth Awards.
The Ghanaian forward has been put in an elite list of top 100 most influential young Africans.
The skipper did not enjoy much fortune as he failed to turn up in the game against Congo in Kumasi and did not even feature the second leg in Brazaville.
That will definitely not be too bad a week for him as he leaves the shores of Africa back to Turkey where he now plays his football with a shoulder high.
The second annual list released by Africa Youth Awards is restricted to age limits between 15 & 36Â and covered over 28 countries on the continent with Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana and Kenya leading with 19, 18, 10, 8 representatives respectively.
The 10 Ghanaians on the list included musicians like Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, ace blogger Ameyaw Debrah and few others.
