We are ready to win the 2017 World Cup - Black Starlets coach

The Coach of the Starlets, Paa Kwesi Fabian made a promise to Ghana’s High Commissioner to India, Mike Ocquaye Junior after the team paid a courtesy call on him when they touched down in India on Monday, October 2, 2017.

Paa Kwesi Fabin who has been in the job since October 2011 has been very confident in utterances on this very particular team he has put up for the 2017 U17 World Cup.

The coach thanked the High Commissioner and made the assertion that his team were in to make a mark in the 2017 U-17 World Cup

“We are so thankful to you for showing great support for us. I think me and my boys we are prepared very well and we believe that all things being equal we will make Ghanaians proud come the 28th of October."

The 2017 edition of the U-17 World Cup runs from the 6th to 28 of October, 2017

Ghana will hope to emulate the last team that won the ultimate in 1995.

Ghana will play the first game of the tournament against Colombia on the 6th October, 2017 and will hope to play the last game of the tournament which will end by lifting the coveted trophy at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kokalta
