The ‘Dade boys’ continued their woeful start to the season after yet another defeat to Tema Youth on Wednesday.

And with the result leaving the on 14th position, some fans showed their displeasure by launching a tirade at the players and technical team.

Tom Strand – who was brought to help rescue the club from relegation – has not been impressed with the attitude of some Olympic fans, and laid into them for not backing the club in its difficult times.

In the aftermath of Olympics 2-1 loss to Tema Youth, Strand said: “I will like to tell those fans who act [abuse] the team in defeat are not the real fans; the fans who support the team in times of difficulty are the real fans.”

Great Olympics are currently rooted in the relegation zone, and will need a  major facelift to save their season. The club will next face Asante Kotoko at home.
