Reports in Italy are rife on the possible transfer of Kwadwo Asamoah from Juventus to Turkish Super Lig side Galatasaray.
According to Italian tabloid Tuutosport, the Ghana international is the subject of an €8 million bid from the Turkish giants, who have been chasing Asamoah’s signature for sometime now.
Last week, reports emerged in the local media that the Juve midfielder had already agreed personal terms with Galatasaray and would reportedly be earning €2.5 million per year.
And it appears the Turk Telecom Arena outfit have taken their interest a notch higher by formally submitting a bid for the former Udinese anchorman.
Juve coach Max Allegri has frequently used Asamoah as a make-shift left-back, and reports suggest that the Ghanaian is increasing growing impatient with being played out of position.
Galatasaray, though, are in dire need of a centre man, and after seeing their interest in Barcelona’s Arda Turan cool down, attention has now been turned to Asamoah.
The decision now lies with Juventus to either accept or reject the reported €8 million offer made by Galatasaray.
