Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng believes he made the right decision in choosing to return to the Bundesliga.
The 30-year-old left Spanish outfit Las Palmas to join Eintracht Frankfurt after just a solitary season playing in the La Liga.
Boateng explained that his move to Germany was fueled by a desire to reunite with his family, who did not move with him to Spain.
The midfielder has since gone on to make seven appearances for Frankfurt, scoring once in the process.
And he believes the decision to return to the Bundesliga – where he previously lined up for Borussia Dortmund and Schalke O4 – was right, considering the fact that he is enjoying his football.

Boateng told the club’s official website: “Absolutely. I’m very happy so far. There’s always room for improvement, of course. My fitness is improving game by game, which should allow me to make decisive contributions on a more frequent basis.
“I’ll be fully fit again soon, I promise you. The move [to Eintracht] is also paying dividends off the pitch, as I’m now closer to my family. I’m really happy about that too.”
The former Portsmouth man scored 10 goals in his maiden season in the La Liga, and will be hoping to replicate such form at Frankfurt this season.
