England was able to come from behind to record an important 2-1 win against Slovakia on Monday night in the World Cup qualifier.
Tottenham midfielder Delle Alli portrayed a gesture around the 77th minute of proceedings which saw him brandish a middle finger gesture.
This came after Alli was brought down around the penalty area and that was not given the foul.
A few minutes after Alli gets up to brandish his middle finger which seemed to be in the direction of French referee Clement Turpin.
The fact is that the European Football Governing body UEFA can indeed act on it if Turpin includes it in his match report.
This simply means if the referee did not find it necessary to include it then no action can be taken
Alli did later come out to confirm on Twitter that the gesture was actually directed at his former teammate and England right back Tottenham Hotspur Kyle Walker.
England who are on top of Group F stretched the lead to five points after beating 2ND placed Slovakia.
