The various malls and shopping centre in the country have discounted their products hoping customers will buy.

This is a moment for the shop owners to also put stock that has been in their shops for long on sale in order to restock for Christmas and the new year.

Some shops have slashed the prices of goods ranging from technology gadgets to underwears.

Even though the Black Friday in the USA for this year is only on November 23, 2018, most shops in Ghana have made it a ‘festival’ for one week. This means that unlike the those in America, Ghanaians can buy what they need for about a week in specific shops.

Black Friday began as part of the Xmas shopping package right after Thanksgiving (the fourth Thursday of November) from the 1930s.
