#DearKen: Ghanaians on Twitter are telling the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta their expectations of the 2020 budget
A hashtag trending on Twitter in Ghana this morning is #DearKen.
Most people called on the Finance Minister to review the taxes and levies downwards so Ghanaians can have some relief.
The Minister has earlier promised that no new taxes will be introduced in the coming year.
Others also said that they do not care anymore what the budget entails since the government does not seem to listen.
Some other social media activists said the 2020 budget must bridge the gap between the party’s manifesto before it won the election and the government’s plans to deliver so far.
