The president has received some criticisms for his dressing style. During the early days of his presidency, he was almost always spotted in a three-piece suit even when he was representing the country in foreign countries. Recently, he was spotted in a high profile meeting which had Arab delegates clad in their gowns and turbans. Ex President Mahama would definitely have slayed in his fugu to showcase his Ghanaian identity.
Youthfulness
Ghanaians are definitely missing the fresh blood posture of former President Mahama who exhumed some youthful exuberance. At a point in time during his presidency, he rode on motor all my himself and posed for pictures with some pedestrians. We surely won’t see Nana Addo do that, will we?

This is just the first year but it does not look like we will ever see President Akufo-Addo in military uniform like we saw Rawlings and Mahama do.
Sense of Humour
It’s eleven months into the Akufo-Addo administration and we have not heard the President throw any killer punches yet. We will always remember Mahama for those “I can’t think far” and dabbing moments not forgetting the “no abaaba se” shoulder movement, which was spiced by the whistle. We understand the Presidency is a no-joke area but a little humour will not increase our debt stock.
