You can now find one of the world’s top hotels, Protea Hotels by Marriott, in Ghana

Protea Hotels by Marriott has revealed that it will soon establish one of its branches in the capital city of Ghana, Accra.

The hotel is expected to be strategically located in the prestigious airport residential area of if the city about 1.5 kilometres from the Kotoka International Airport.

It will as well be an ideal place for business and leisure travelers, as well as airline crew and the local community.

The Vice President Protea Hotels by Marriott, Marriott International and Middle East and Africa explained that, by way of continuing economic growth in Africa, it is important to drive greater investment in the continent, and Ghana is proving to be particularly attractive as an investment destination hence, the decision for the establishment of the hotel.

“Protea Hotels by Marriott, is one of Africa’s most well established hotel brands and we are delighted to debut the brand in the bustling and dynamic capital city of Accra,” he explained.

The project is a partnership between Protea Hotels by Marriott and that of YAMUSAH Group

This is what the hotel will look like

Protea Hotel by Marriott Accra Kotoka Airport will be a 17-story, 200-room hotel offering a restaurant, a lobby bar and lounge, small conference and meeting facilities, an air crew lounge, a gymnasium and a rooftop pool bar and lounge with uninterrupted views of the city.
