Who has the best french fries ? The answer changes depending on who you ask.

As part of a larger survey about fast food, we asked the readers of Business Insider to tell us which chain they thought had the best french fries.
We measured the percentage of respondents who said they'd visited a chain in the last six months against the percentage of respondents who said that chain was the best at something.
Readers loved Five Guys' fries the best, with almost half of readers saying that the chain had the best fries. It was closely followed by McDonald's.

Like football teams, chicken wings, and presidential candidates, not all french fries are created equal.

But whose french fries are best?

That depends on who you ask. So we asked you, the readers of Business Insider, to tell us. We put out a reader survey in order to find out important truths such as which fast-food chains have the best food , the best value, the best bathrooms , and the best fries.

We called, and over 3,000 of you answered.

In our rankings, we compared the percentage of respondents who said they'd visited a chain in the last six months against the percentage of respondents who said they thought that chain was the best at something.
