1) Would you please introduce yourself to our audience?

I am Samuel Kwame Boadu, an entrepreneur and digital marketer based in Accra Ghana. I studied Human Resource Management with the Association of Business Executives, Uk and after earning my certificate I decided to engage in the world of Digital Marketing. As for the position I behold, I am the Founder of SamBoad Business Group Limited which has a department called SamBoad Media Consult that takes care of anything media for our clients.

2) Despite your young age, you were able to catch the attention of many clients and celebrities, what’s the secret behind that?

Actually, I did nothing rather than give all that I have for the sake of my career. My Team and I give the best services in a very short time for my clients who trust my abilities. My passion and love for digital marketing is the main reason behind my success, when you love a certain side of your life, you will definitely give it your all.

3) When is it better not to engage on social media?

Again, it comes down to judgment. It might be tempting to respond to every negative comment on social media, but a good digital marketer or social media expert will know how to distinguish between legitimate customer complaints and people who are just looking for attention.

4) What makes a piece of social media content successful?

A social media strategy is only as good as the content it produces. To be successful, a digital marketer needs more than a flair for click-worthy headlines (though that certainly helps). They need an eye for relevant, shareable contents.

5) What metrics do you use to measure the success of your social campaigns?

The two most important metrics for social media are engagements and leads. Whether they’re using Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or YouTube, a good social media specialist should be able to show quantifiable evidence that they’re reaching people who could become customers.

6) What tools do you use to manage your channels?

As a digital marketer and founder, I work with team members who come up with ideas and contents each day and I gather these ideas and communicate them to the CEOs and marketing heads of these brands. What these brands expect from my team and I are:

8) What has been your most outstanding achievement so far as a digital marketer?

Well, I think being able to combine entrepreneurship with digital marketing and how my team and I are able to convert followers into customers. When we took over the page of Coco Vanilla Restaurants, they had just 2,000 following and a page. We constantly built it to what you see now and even created Instagram pages for each branch. Likewise Priority Insurance Company Limited and our other clients. With what we have built for these brands, I think they are our greatest achievements as a team.

9). which companies or brands do you look up to for digital marketing inspiration?

I think one is Edward Asare who is the digital marketer at UBA Ghana and then Kwadwo Sheldon who is both a content creator and a digital marketer. These individuals have built great brands for themselves and are doing really well in the digital marketing

10). What will you tell people who want to be digital marketers and ones who look up to you?

I will tell them to first love what they want to do, be passionate about it and constantly learn during their journey. It takes consistency, prayers and continuous learning to get there. I still don’t see myself there yet hence always learning from industry players and my colleagues each day.

Mr Boadu suggests that consistency, prayers and continuous learning to get there is his secret to success hence, encourages young people to do so.
