President John Mahama has said his government is on track to provide the 200 Community Schools promised in the National Democratic Congress (NDCs) elections 2012 manifesto.

President Mahama  in 2012 promised to construct 200 Community Senior High Schools in order to improve access to education by 2016 but he had commission 10 of the schools with 123 others in different stages of completion.

He said when given the opportunity in December general elections, he will complete the remaining schools in 2021.

The 123 Community Day Senior High Schools according to government officials have all been awarded on contract and are at various stages of completion.
