Junior student stabs senior prefect to death for punishing him

The police has declared student of one of the prestigious schools in Lagos wanted after he stabbed his senior prefect to death.

A student who stabbed his senior to death is now on the run

A Senior Secondary School 2 student of Gaskiya College, Lagos State, Saka Ahmed, popularly known as Ejo (Snake), is on the run after he allegedly stabbing the senior prefect of the school, Saheed Jimoh, to death, because he was punished, reports Punch.

It was gathered that Jimoh, 19, had punished the suspect over an offence and the bitter Ejo waited for him outside the school premises at the close of school and engaged him in a fight, during which he stabbed him with a knife on the chest.

After stabbing the senior prefect, Ejo reportedly fled the scene, leaving the injured Jimoh in a pool of his blood. He gave up the shortly after he was rushed to a private hospital in the area and the incident was reported at the Amukoko Police Division.

An eyewitness, Kayode Aderibigbe, reported that Ejo jumped on the unsuspecting Jimoh from where he was hiding and stabbed him.

“He (Ejo), had been waiting for Jimoh. He brought out a knife from his bag. Saheed ran when he saw him with the knife but Ejo chased him and stabbed him.

I followed the pupils who rushed him to the hospital but he was confirmed dead on arrival. The police can trace Ejo.”

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Joe Offor, confirmed the attack, stating that a manhunt has been launched for the suspect.

“According to the information we have, the pupil was stabbed by the school gate with a knife by a fellow student of the same school, who is at large. The victim was confirmed dead at the hospital. Investigation is ongoing.”
