Champions, Adisadel College, take home a cash prize of GHS 40,000 while the contestants and teachers get GHS 15,000 each.

Salma Sumaila takes home $600 for picking the award for Most Outstanding Female Contestant

For winning the contest, Adisadel College, take home a cash prize of GHS 40,000 while the contestants and teachers get GHS 15,000 each.

Runners up, Opoku Ware School gets a cash prize of GHS 30,000, with the contestants and teachers getting GHS 10,000.

For placing third, Mfantsipim School walks home with GHS 20,000, with contestants and teachers getting GHS 5,000.

From the competition which was held at the University of Ghana, Adisadel College won by 44 points as against Opoku Ware School and Mfantsipim School with 38 and 37 points respectively.

The aim of the National Science & Maths Quiz is to promote the study of the sciences and mathematics, help students develop quick thinking and a probing and scientific mind about the things around them.
