Salifu-Krom Primary pupils study on bare floor

According to the school's headteacher, Mr. Yahaya Richard, the dire situation is affecting the performance of the students.

He added that the children sometimes refuse to come to school because of the depilated classroom they sit in to study.

The total number of furniture we have from KG to class three is less than 20, therefore, the KG pupils are compelled to sit on the floor while others don't have desk to sit on.

"In fact, the situation here is so appalling we don’t have textbooks and teaching aids, we therefore called on government, the municipal assembly, individuals, NGO’s and other agency to come to our aid and even be happy if government can also consider the school with the feeding program to enable the children stay in school," he bemoaned.
