This is why Shatta Wale wasn’t allowed to perform at the CAF Awards Gala

The large crowd at the International Conference Centre was disappointed when they realise the dancehall artiste wasn’t going to perform.

Shatta Wale in a video tweeted by Aiteo the headline sponsor of the CAF Awards Gala announced he will be performing at International Conference Centre in an event that will see football stars on the African continent honoured.

Several artistes dominated by Nigerians performed and the biggest dancehall artiste in the Ghana was expected to electrify the auditorium, but in the end, he wasn’t called to perform, despite the chanting of his name by the large crowd in the auditorium


It is understood that Shatta Wale was supposed to show up for rehearsals, but he failed to do so and compelled the organisers to axe him from the list of artiste for the biggest football awards gala.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah beat his Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane and Gabonese star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to win the most prestigious award, which is the CAF African Player of the Year.
