Man confesses to killing Peace FM journalist, King George

However, despite the man's confession, police are still going on with their investigation to ascertain if truly he committed the crime, whether there are other accomplices or whether he is ‘mentally unstable’.

 

King George, a journalist who strings for Accra-based Peace FM, was gunned down last week Thursday (10.09.15)evening at Kwapong in the Asunafo South District of the Brong Ahafo region.

Earlier it was suspected that the journalist, who also doubles as an employee of Success FM, was killed by armed robbers but some new twist has arrived to the issue, throwing more suspense and intrigue around it.

In a bizarre reportage, a man in his mid-thirties has confessed to allegedly killing the PEACE FM reporter.According to the self-confessed culprit, whose name is currently being withheld for security reasons, said he was forced to confess after being constantly haunted by the ghost of King George.
