We are not sleeping over unpaid bonuses - Kwesi Nyantakyi

The senior national female team who returned to Ghana last Sunday after winning gold in the All Africa games in Congo, are demanding for their bonuses to be paid to them before they leave their hotel.

GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi has assured the Black Queens that the Association is doing its best to end their unpaid bonus impasse soon.

According Mr. Nyantakyi, who paid a visit to the team on Monday, stated that the GFA is unhappy about the situation and is ready to reach a common ground with all stakeholders to end the stand-off.

“I am here to discuss with you how we can find solutions. Am very open to listen to your suggestions.”

“No one is happy with the current happenings and we should all be committed to resolving the problem. We are all not having any sleep about the concerns of the team,” the GFA President told the team in a meeting.

“It’s unfortunate and we have to find a way around it. There should be a solution soon because it’s embarrassing everybody,” he added.

Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi will meet the team on Tuesday to conclude discussions on how to find a solution to the unpaid bonus impasse.
