Incumbent MP, Collins Amankwah wins Manhyia North NPP primary

The MP polled 185 votes as against his closest contender, Kwasi Konadu who polled 171 votes while Nana Osei Bamfoe had 129 votes.

There had been several failed attempts to elect both constituency executives and a parliamentary candidate.

This is because some parliamentary candidate aspirants accused the executive of intentionally bloating the register.

The primary was earlier marred due to issues surrounding the eligibility of some of the delegates.
